Job Summary: The ERP Operations Consultant will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing ERP systems for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of ERP software, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the ERP system meets business needs and enhances operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Implementation: Lead the planning, design, and implementation of ERP systems for clients, ensuring the solution meets business requirements.
System Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing ERP systems to improve efficiency, performance, and scalability.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the ERP system effectively.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in ERP system usage.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into ERP solutions.
Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ERP systems, providing timely solutions and minimizing downtime.
Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, processes, and user guides.
Compliance and Security: Ensure ERP systems comply with relevant regulations and security standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of
experience working with ERP systems, with a strong preference for experience in [specific ERP software, e.g., Epicor, SyteLine, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics].
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP system configuration, customization, and administration. Knowledge of database management and SQL is a plus.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of industry-specific processes and requirements, especially in sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, finance, or public sector.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex systems and workflows.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management: Experience in managing ERP implementation projects, including timeline, budget, and resource management.
Certifications: Relevant ERP certifications are preferred.
