Job Title: Technical Business Analyst/ Project Manager
Schedule: Hybrid and/or Remote for the right Candidate in Chandler, AZ
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Job Summary:
Looking for a Business Analyst/ Project Manager for our Financial Analytics and Reporting (F.A.R.) group. Behind every strategic decision is a dataset created by an Analyst. The Business Analyst Project Manager will work closely with team members and key leadership to deliver our core projects. These core projects will help set the foundation for our corporate data and analytical needs.
Essential functions:
Manage and oversee core department projects, ensuring successful and timely delivery
Set clear objectives for the projects, leveraging F.A.R and key executive stakeholders to achieve results
Navigate and resolve ambiguities in definitions, processes and tasks
Identify and mitigate project risks
Regularly communicate with department leadership
Collaborates with various function teams such as finance/accounting, business development, and executive leadership to achieve business results.
Assist in data verification and logic testing
Documentation of project scoping, schedules, and deliverables
Works with software and scripting, typically Tableau and SQL, to generate and/or review for ETL logic
Will be working on three different projects:
Data Dictionary - Redefining Business/Technical definitions
Rebuilding data warehouse
Consolidating to Tableau
Our ideal candidate:
Experience in managing business analytic projects
Strong understanding of data structures
Experience with Data Dictionaries and/or defining requirements for data structure's user stories
Has a strong knowledge of performance reporting & analysis, commission/pay models, corporate financial evaluations, and costing/budget/profitability methodologies and processes
Demonstrates ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Experience creating and designing scalable report and dashboard templates
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Experience of defining and implementing business and technical definitions using data and metrics
Experience Required:
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel (required)

3+ years of program or project management experience
