We are hiring an AWS Architect to support our corporate Information Technology department which works in partnership with our portfolio companies.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the VP of IT, the AWS Architect will play a major role in running daily IT operations and leading new projects. This position is located within the corporate office in Irving, TX. This individual will work with various teams and divisions across the US & Canada to support aggressive growth and IT targets.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Must have hands-on AWS management\support experience.
Support all our AWS cloud resources.
Solid understanding and experience of migrating applications from on-prem to AWS including both application and data migration.s
Define the migration strategy of a live application.
Work with the cloud infra team in terms of defining the infra requirements for the project and working with them to provision the right infrastructure.
Manage and work with onsite/offshore teams and help the team in finding solutions.
Lac - Terraform / CDK / CFT experience.
Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.
Manage and delivering on multiple complex projects at the same time.
AWS Architect certification preferred, but not required.
Desired Professional Skills and Experience:
Must have hands-on AWS management\support experience.
Strong expertise in AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, and VPC
Solid understanding and experience of migrating applications from on-prem to AWS including both application and data migration.
Proven experience as an AWS Architect or similar role
In-depth knowledge of application architecture principles and best practices
Define the migration strategy of a live application
Work with the infra team in terms of defining the infra requirements for the project and working with them to provision the right infrastructure.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
