Director of Cloud Engineering (Azure cloud native apps / microservices)

This position will report directly to the CTO and will be focused on the development of their cloud native strategy and designing, implementing, and deploying microservices architectures, including containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
Desired Experience & Skills
10 years experience in IT leadership
Technical background in cloud engineering (Azure preferred)
Prior experience as a Solutions Architect with expertise in microservices architecture
Experience developing & deploying cloud native applications/products in Azure would be ideal
Good understanding of serverless technologies i.e. Azure functions
Experience working in enterprise environments
Background working in financial services or consulting
Must have excellent EQ, demonstrable experience reporting to C-level executives
