Job Description:
We are building a team of highly skilled and motivated Staff/Senior CloudOps Engineers to join our dynamic, growing team. As a Staff Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our AWS cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in AWS, virtual private cloud networking, and DevOps process improvement will be instrumental in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our healthcare technology platform.
Key Responsibilities:
AWS Cloud Management:
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure, with a focus on scalability and cost-efficiency.
- Expertise building Terraform modules in large scale environments.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement best practices for security and compliance within AWS.
Coding/Scripting:
- Software development using Python, Golang, YAML
- Write custom code for process automation
- Build API Gateways
VPC Networking:
- Configure and manage Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) environments to ensure secure network connectivity.
- Collaborate with network architects to design and maintain VPCs for different application tiers.
DevOps Process Improvement:
- Continuously improve and automate deployment and orchestration processes.
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines for application releases.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline development and deployment workflows.
Troubleshooting and Incident Response:
- Act as a point of contact for incident resolution and provide expertise during critical incidents (not an on-call role).
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and processes.
Documentation:
- Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the development and deployment of AI-driven healthcare applications.
- Mentor and guide junior Cloud team members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of virtual private cloud networking and security best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Shell).
- Experience in DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Healthcare technology experience is a plus, but not required.
