What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities:
Supports all clients for software and hardware requests, including desktops, laptops, PC/MAC OS, servers, Productivity Office Suites, etc.
Support the major initiative of streamlining software asset management processes.
Certificate Management and implementation, with the ability to deploy certs.
Assists in special program-related issues as needed, with the flexibility to change focus as necessary.
Ensuring quality control throughout the lifecycle of all company Technology assets by developing and implementing appropriate procedures to track and manage them.
Maintaining databases and records of information such as licenses, service agreements, and warranties for the organization's software and hardware.
Design processes relating to software and hardware asset management, and execute and enhance them.
Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware and software.
Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets and/or software licenses to make sure they comply with vendor contracts.
Generate and distribute various reports, including compliance reports on current assets and their status; also perform trend analyses.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to determine trends in asset performance.
Perform research on industry best practices and incorporate them with organizational practices.
Provide off-hours support as needed for moves and special projects.
