Team Overview

The global marketing and demand team is focused on bringing Impinj products and innovations to market. Our director of enterprise demand will provide strategic and team leadership to develop and implement demand-generation programs that support our company strategy. *Seattle location highly preferred.

What you will do:
  • Develop and execute demand strategies: develop cohesive strategies, scaled budgets, and plans that attract, educate, nurture, and convert demand within a complex channel and product/solution roadmap.
  • Drive organizational alignment on demand generation strategies: work closely with the go-to-market teams to align efforts, drive revenue, and earn preference with our end customers. Align with GTM and executive leadership on revenue targets, campaign budget, and demand strategies.
  • Apply a data- and system-driven approach: leverage data and establish frameworks in an agile approach that tunes how we work to optimal success. Establish data/analytics needs, build systems and processes, and partner with others to deliver on our marketing analytics roadmap.
  • Champion the buyer's experience: develop a deep understanding of a buying group behavior to develop campaigns and content that supports complex enterprise sales engagements.
  • Create a demand center of excellence: In partnership with others, combine external best practices and techniques with internal learnings to develop an approach to demand generation at Impinj that identifies and resolves challenges, celebrates continuous learning, and delivers on our goals.

What you will bring:
  • 8 + years of experience leading demand generation at an enterprise technology B2B organization. Experience with complex technology sales, semiconductor or device field a plus. Proven ability to develop and execute integrated, cross-functional demand generation strategies aligned with business objectives, go-to-market plans, and revenue targets.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience extracting and analyzing data, making data-driven decisions, and establishing reporting frameworks for demand operations.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, ABM tools, CRM software, data analysis, and visualization tools. Salesforce / Pardot, GA 4, and PowerBI a plus.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies with a demonstrated ability to translate complex technical capabilities into customer KPIs and messaging for campaigns
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and succeed within ambiguity and change
  • Experience developing targeted or account-based marketing programs with rich knowledge of best practices in both campaigns and program development.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing high-performing demand generation teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and experimentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience managing and mentoring high-performing teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and experimentation, and a natural drive toward whole-team success
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • Experience in a global organization, fluency in a second language, and global cultural awareness is a strong advantage

Compensation and Benefits

The benefits listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Impinj and the country where you work.

The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $160,000 - $255,000. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
