Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT infrastructure, with expertise in Office 365, Windows Server, VMware, scripting, and Azure. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage and optimize our systems to ensure smooth operations and support our company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or other scripting languages to streamline system administration tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.
  • Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as patch management, firmware updates, and system optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP services to support organizational needs.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior IT staff members.

Supervisory Responsibility:
  • Supervise 1 - 100 employees (labor) directly and indirectly.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Office 365 and Azure.
  • Microsoft certifications such as MCSA: Office 365, CCNA, MCSE: Core Infrastructure, or Azure Administrator Associate preferred.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and principles.
  • Understanding of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services, including virtual machines, Azure Active Directory, and Azure networking.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to identify solutions to complex technical issues.
