We are seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT infrastructure, with expertise in Office 365, Windows Server, VMware, scripting, and Azure. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage and optimize our systems to ensure smooth operations and support our company's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or other scripting languages to streamline system administration tasks and improve efficiency.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.
Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as patch management, firmware updates, and system optimization.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP services to support organizational needs.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
Provide mentoring and guidance to junior IT staff members.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Supervise 1 - 100 employees (labor) directly and indirectly.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Office 365 and Azure.
Microsoft certifications such as MCSA: Office 365, CCNA, MCSE: Core Infrastructure, or Azure Administrator Associate preferred.
Familiarity with ITIL practices and principles.
Understanding of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
Hands-on experience with Azure services, including virtual machines, Azure Active Directory, and Azure networking.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to identify solutions to complex technical issues.
