Infosys is seeking a Senior Liferay Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
Responsibilities
Developing application with high quality into a delivery pipeline to ensure secure, reliable, performant operations of Liferay Portal and REST APIs
Subject matter expert in application code development, helping guide others to maintain programming best practices
Required
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Atlanta, GA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
4+ years experience in Information Technology
5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in agile-driven SDLC
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience. Will consider 3 years of experience for every year of education
Proven track record of being self-directed, results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals despite ambiguity and multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and business-facing
3 years of Liferay DXP 7.3 or later product experience in developing applications
3 years of Workflow experience
5 years of strong Java skills
5 years of Restful Web Services
5 years of JDBC and basic hibernate
5 years of Spring concepts and annotations
5 years of HTML/CSS/Bootstrap/JQuery
SQL Database including SP/Functions/Triggers/Cursors
Kaleo workflow, Azure AD/LDAP/SAML integration
Client communication and onshore-offshore coordination
Responsible for understanding requirements from business, providing clarifications to team
Responsible for Analysis, design, development, unit test activities.
Maintain high level of knowledge, skill and competencies in web development.
Translate design requirements and specifications into successful implementations.
Ensure that project meet high standards for quality and adhere to industry best practices.
Agile development experience preferred.
Completely own the tasks independently or with minimal supervision.
