Job Description

UpperEdge is currently looking for a professional, high-energy individual to join its growing team of experts in an IT Sourcing Advisor role for either our Boston, MA or Charlotte, NC office, which includes a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will be located in either Boston, MA or Charlotte, NC and play a central role in analyzing client material and preparing deliverables that support the strategic advice delivered to Fortune 500 executives during UpperEdge's client engagements.

This individual must have the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, exercise superior judgment, and maintain the drive to work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive demeanor.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conducts assessments of IT vendor proposed pricing and fee structures.
  • Performs financial analysis and modeling to include TCO comparisons across multiple proposals.
  • Support development of IT Integrated Sourcing Strategies aligned with clients' business, transformation, and commercial objectives.
  • Responsible for engagement management activities including, but not limited to, on-going timeline development and activity tracking, deliverable and meeting content development, and serving as liaison between client and internal teams.
  • Maintains and enhances internal IT vendor intelligence databases and shared drive/folders.
  • Benchmarks IT vendor pricing and commercial terms against IT vendor intelligence databases.
  • Conducts IT vendor and market intelligence research.
  • Contributes to the enhancement of client deliverable templates and tools.
  • Contributes to the creation of client deliverables leveraged during client engagements.

Qualifications:
  • 2- 4 years in a relevant analyst or advisor role (i.e., financial, or general sourcing); Recent Graduates will also be considered for this position
  • 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in an IT sourcing analyst role is preferred but not required
  • Strong analytical skills to include data comparison and financial analysis/modeling
  • Strong experience with Microsoft tools (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - a positive attitude required
  • Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines in a timely fashion
  • Ability to work well both individually and in a team environment
  • Bachelors' degree or higher
