Concord Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator for its growing team in Seattle, Washington. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in systems administration, exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and a drive for continuous improvement.
Essential Functions:
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide timely solutions, acting as an SME for production services within data centers and cloud-based infrastructure environments.
Provide Tier 2/3 support as needed for customer-affecting issues.
Provide hands-on system administration, maintenance, and operational support in a primarily Windows server environment.
Build, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
Recommend software and hardware enhancements.
Assist the Security Team with the implementation of Cybersecurity initiatives.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining SaaS systems.
Develop and maintain technical documentation of the system environment.
Act as an escalation point and participate in an on-call rotation for Platform services.
Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree or higher in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant work experience in cloud, data center, and managed services.
Expert-level technical understanding of Microsoft Windows virtualization, computer systems, complex multi-layered software platforms, and other data center technologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to quickly learn new and diverse technologies.
Ability to work under pressure for a successful resolution.
Strong organizational skills
Provide on-call support in both primary and secondary capacity for service operations issues.
Strong Understanding of PowerShell
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of Linux
Experience with container and orchestration technologies - Docker, Kubernetes
Experience in administering e-mail servers, including Postfix.
Experience with scripting and automation.
Knowledge of Ansible or other automation tools (Chef, Puppet, etc.)
Experience with HIPPA, SOC2, PCI, HITRUST, etc.
The compensation range for this role is $120,000 - $130,000. Range can flux dependent on experience.
