CTO - Cyber Security, pre-IPO, Series B, Austin Texas
We are recruiting for an innovative and fast-growing technology company specializing in digital security solutions. The mission is to revolutionize the industry by providing cutting-edge technology that helps businesses protect their digital assets from emerging threats. As they expand, we are looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the Technology/Engineering team and drive our product development strategy.
Position Overview:
As the CTO, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company. You will be the driving force behind our technology vision, ensuring the alignment of our technical strategy with business goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and a passion for innovation and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive roadmap covering product and feature development, as well as scalability and architectural improvements
Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers and developers
Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of our technology infrastructure.
Conduct a full architecture audit and implement necessary changes to ensure system scalability, including fragmentation to more microservices
You will design a future-proof, cross-functional organizational structure for high-growth mode
Manage technology budgets and timelines to ensure efficient use of resources.
Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our technology platforms.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar leadership role in a technology-focused company, ideally within a startup
Strong technical background with expertise in software development, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
Demonstrated experience in leading and scaling high-performing technology teams.
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
A track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering results on time and within budget.
Knowledge of industry best practices and a passion for staying ahead of the curve in technology trends.
