Attollo Engineering is seeking a Firmware Development Engineer to develop firmware for handheld and body-worn imaging, laser and sensor systems.
Role and Responsibilities
Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary engineering team
Work with imaging, laser, and sensor systems and develop firmware for control, image collection, image analysis and image manipulation
Operating within Linux environment on various SOM platforms interfaced with sensor hardware and human interfaces
Develop firmware and image processing pipelines for cutting-edge infrared sensors and lasers
Develop drivers and graphical user interfaces for OLED and other microdisplays
Programming for system characterization and validation
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in electrical and computer engineering, computer science, or closely related degree areas.
Preferred Skills
5+ years of hands-on experience with embedded code development and validation
Experience operating in a Linux or other environment with multiple programming languages such as C, C# and Python
Experience interfacing with visible, low-light, infrared cameras and microdisplay systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, with a commitment to quality and safety.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities as needed.
