LHH is seeking a Quality Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will lead a team of quality professionals, manage the quality management system, oversee quality assurance, assist with new product introduction, and be responsible for achieving KPIs in a team-oriented work environment. Compensation ranges from $110,000-125,000 and includes several insurance program options, 401K match, and generous PTO and holiday offerings.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the quality engineering team, oversee the QMS, and ensure quality marks are being met
Maintain compliance and adherence to ISO standards and customer quality standards
Create, maintain, and update test plans and an audit tracking system with coinciding audit schedule
Solve problems and conduct root cause analysis activities to eliminate recurrence of non-conformance issues
Create and execute the strategic vision of the department and recommend changes for process improvements to the distribution center's quality processes
Lead quality audits, projects, or special assignments as assigned
Inspect facilities periodically to identify problems and create weekly remediation schedules so work can be allocated accordingly
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
Monitor, communicate, and improve quality metrics and KPI's
Inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance
Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain loss prevention programs to reduce and control workplace injuries and hazards
Follow the ASQ Code of Ethics
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field is required
Must have 10+ years of experience within quality engineering roles
Must have 10+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience serving as a Quality Manager over a team of quality professionals
Must have experience managing a Quality Management System
Ideal candidates will possess understanding of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing strategies
Must have knowledge of quality standards and health & safety practices and regulations
Must be willing to learn, self-motivated, and a positive leader
