Are you a seasoned professional in instrumentation and controls engineering? Our client, a rapidly growing leader in the oil and gas industry, is seeking a talented Instrumentation and Controls Lead to join their headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the instrumentation design for various consulting engineering assignments, primarily in electrical engineering and design.
Develop and design instrumentation and control systems in compliance with industry standards, safety standards, and client specifications.
Review technical vendor submittals and prepare instrumentation calculations for control valves, flow orifices, and relief valves.
Design specialized control systems/instrumentation (e.g., PLCs) and provide field support through construction and commissioning.
Prepare equipment specifications and stay aware of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Create instrument/electrical specifications, drawings, and scopes of work, including instrumentation and power conduit schedules and layouts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in engineering and engineering management in an EPCM environment.
Strong leadership and coaching skills for team development and mentoring.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desire to improve in-house engineering processes, procedures, and templates.
