Job Responsibilities:
Master electrical construction activities, regulations, and design/engineering techniques.
Plan schedules, budgets, proposals, and modify drawings/specifications.
Handle medium to large engineering projects with minimal supervision.
Review and approve Inspection Test Plans, quality check forms, and test reports.
Conduct field investigations and produce detailed field reports.
Respond to site RFIs with strong technical knowledge and code interpretation.
Certify and approve electrical contractor's work and scope changes.
Qualifications:
Electrical Engineering degree with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in an EPCM environment within petrochemical, midstream, or other heavy industries.
PE License required.
Strong leadership and coaching skills for team development and mentoring.
Solid understanding of construction site health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Proficiency in electrical calculations and computer applications.
Familiarity with US electrical codes (NEMA, NETA, IEEE standards).
Expertise in site acceptance tests for digital relays, LV & MV switchgear, motors, cables, and MCC.
Knowledge of design and installation of LV and MV power systems, including motors, protective relays, transformers, circuit breakers, and VFDs.
