We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 2nd Engineer to join our team on a multicat offshore vessel for a dredging project. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marine engineering and hands-on experience with vessel maintenance and repair.
Some of the tasks and responsibilities to be performed by the 2nd Engineer are:
Assist in the maintenance and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems on board;
Conduct regular inspection of engines, machinery, and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly;
Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely, adhereing to industry standards and regulations;
Support the Chief and 1st Engineers in the daily operations of the vessel;
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and reports;
Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols and procedures on board.

For this position we have the following requirements:
Valid STCW III/1 or equivalent certification;
Relevant maritime engineering qualifications and certifications;
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the dredging or offshore industry;
Valid medical certification;
Strong understanding of marine electrical systems and controls;
Familiarity with maintenance management systems and practices.
