Job Summary:

The Learning & Development Manager will identify skill gaps at the site level and partner with Senior Leadership to develop strategies to bridge the gaps. This position will support the launch of new initiatives and drive the continuous success of our training and learning and development strategies, including facilitating onboarding and training, creating strategies for each facet, and developing, designing, and deploying content.

Key Responsibilities:

Helping the site meet its objectives and KPIs by developing and implementing high-impact training, learning, and development programs that align with business needs and priorities.

Establish strong partnerships with on-site leaders to gain an in-depth understanding of current operational challenges and opportunities related to training, learning, and development.

Conduct needs analysis and create training plans to ensure that all required competencies are supported to drive long-term success site-wide

Review & revise or create course materials that align with operating processes, procedures, and systems.

Deliver training to various business departments while working with multiple stakeholders to coordinate and organize training sessions.

Collect feedback on completed training to evaluate and measure results and improve the strategic plan.

Conduct training the trainer workshops to evaluate the success of training, scalability, and effectiveness.

Develop and successfully deliver learning solutions

Define and lead projects focused on the continuous development of the team, both individually and collectively.

Skills and Qualifications: Required

Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Education or Educational Psychology, or a related field a plus

2+ years of experience in a Learning and Development role

5+ years of experience in team management

Proven understanding of warehouse processes, safety procedures, and best practices

Proven track record of designing and implementing successful training programs for adult learners

Possess strong project management skills, capable of coordinating multiple learning initiatives simultaneously.

Possess in-depth knowledge of learning theories, instructional design principles, and adult learning methodologies.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office, learning management systems (LMS), and other e-learning platforms to deliver and track training programs.

Possess superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging and impactful training sessions to diverse audiences.

Possess the ability to engage, inspire, and motivate team members and learners.

Adaptable and innovative, able to continuously update and evolve learning strategies to meet the changing needs of the site

Possess exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering positive stakeholder relationships and collaborating effectively across departments.
