Data is part of our DNA. The Experimentation team is responsible for making an impact using data, tracking progress towards goals, and continuously informing product development through high-quality analysis and well-designed experiments.

The Lead, International Product Experimentation role will focus on supporting international efforts for our product, design, engineering, and editorial stakeholders. This involves all aspects of the experiment lifecycle spanning hypothesis generation, sample size calculations, and test design. A key aspect of the role would be to lead governance meetings between platform and international teams to align roadmaps and define feature launch strategies. The Lead will also partner with other data and decision science teams to share best practices and continuously improve capabilities to increase the velocity and complexity of experiments across workstreams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive experimentation strategy and consult with stakeholder teams in order to directly impact the company's business objectives and product goals
  • Manage an experimentation roadmap in collaboration with Product and international stakeholder teams, translating business requirements into well-designed and properly measured experiments
  • Develop reporting dashboards and visualizations in order to streamline the experimentation process and present insights to key stakeholders
  • Communicate insights, vision, and strategy with executive leadership and key stakeholders
  • Lead an international center of excellence and provide training on experimentation best practices for stakeholder teams
  • Foster a culture of execution excellence and analytical rigor

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of applied experience in experimentation at an eCommerce, social network, direct-to-consumer, media entertainment, or similar tech company
  • BA/BS in technical or quantitative discipline or significant relevant work experience
  • Experience with experiment design and platforms (i.e. in-house built, Optimizely, split.io, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of experimentation and related statistical concepts
  • Coding skills for analytics and data analysis (SQL, etc.)
  • Experience in using data to drive product decisions and change opinions
