MAU is hiring a Customer Service Manager for our client in Douglasville, GA. As a Customer Service Manager, you will perform managerial and administrative work overseeing the company's customer service and meter services divisions. This includes planning, organizing, and managing employees in these respective divisions with independent judgment and decision-making discretion. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Shift Information:
7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Every other Friday off
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
8+ years of experience in business; OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience
General Requirements:
Knowledge of principles and practices of business management, customer service, billing, and collection techniques
Effectively deal with employees engaged in tedious and demanding customer relations work
Skill in supervising all aspects of the diverse functions
Knowledge of data processing and office systems
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Skill in working both conceptually and practically with accounting and bookkeeping tasks
Ability to plan, organize, and effectively communicate to all levels of employees within the company
Ability to set priorities and goals for division and to motivate employees
Ability to read and write to effectively complete tasks
Preferred Requirements:
Knowledge of meter reading techniques
Essential Functions:
Hire, manage, motivate, develop, evaluate, and terminate billing, customer service, and meter services staff
Prepare and manage the annual budget for the billing, customer service, and meter services department
Oversee fleet management and administration of the vehicles for the meter services field personnel
Review existing operations and set goals and objectives for the divisions
Ensure accurate billing for all customers following the guidelines provided in the Rules and Regulations of the company
Review Rules and Regulations and provide recommendations for improvement
Prepare, assign, and monitor goals and objectives
Prepare correspondence relating to inquiries requesting billing information for customers
Represent the company on disputed meter readings and billing issues
Resolve all issues and complaints
Utilize AMR data where available
Perform other tasks as assigned
