Our client, a global leader in the horticultural space, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Bilingual HR Generalist to join their team in Guadalupe, California! This person will serve as the primary HR contact for their hourly and salaried employees across three locations: Guadalupe, Arroyo Grande and Santa Paula. This position is an extension of their Corporate HR team and is essential in fostering a positive workplace environment and ensuring smooth HR operations. Bilingual HR Generalist Responsibilities:
Serve as the face of HR for employees at three locations, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters
Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the company
Lead minor employee relations investigations to resolve issues and maintain a harmonious workplace
Implement and manage employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace morale and productivity
Handle the administration of workers compensation and FMLA, ensuring compliance and support for employees
Assist with open enrollment processes and manage benefits administration
Oversee the administration of merit increases, ensuring fairness and alignment with company policies
Occasionally assist with recruitment efforts to attract top talent
Partner closely with the corporate team to roll out and update HR programs and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Bilingual HR Generalist Requirements:
4+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
Must be fluent in Spanish & English
Proven experience in leading minor employee relations investigations
Demonstrated exposure to workers compensation/FMLA, employee engagement, benefits administration and recruitment processes
No degree required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Proactive problem-solving abilities to address and resolve HR-related issues
Ability to work collaboratively with the corporate HR team and other departments
