Data Scientist Remote (Eastern Timezone) US Citizen/Green Card needed. We are working with an exciting firm that specializes in digitally transforming retail supply chains. They are looking for a Data Scientist to join their team that will help contribute to their clients needs.
Responsibilities:
Translate complex technical findings into clear, concise, and visually engaging presentations. Craft compelling narratives that highlight key insights, actionable recommendations, and the business impact of data-driven initiatives.
Develop and refine predictive models, recommendation systems, and other machine learning solutions to optimize performance and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production environments.
Employ a systematic approach to problem-solving, leveraging a combination of analytical thinking, creativity, and domain expertise. Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools, techniques, and methodologies to streamline processes and maximize efficiency.
Actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, peer reviews, and collaborative projects to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices and standards within the organization.
Utilize statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to explore datasets, identify trends, anomalies, and insights that drive business decisions. Apply data visualization techniques to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Requirements:
BS or MS in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning or similar field.
5+ years of real world experience leveraging data science for business use cases (Statistical Modeling, Machine Learning, etc.)
Optimization experience needed.
Excellent analytical skills, team first mindset, ability to adapt.
