HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

Newly restructured surgical services director position allows for a robust and expanded scope across the site's surgical and procedural service lines. If you are seeking to expand and elevate your leader operations portfolio, this career is worth exploring. Oversee day-to-day and strategic operations for Condell's Main OR, ASC, all perioperative areas including PACU, Interventional Services (Cath/IR/EP, Wound, and Pain), GI Lab, and SPD. Develop direct report leadership bench and ensure high-performing surgical RNs, techs teams. Develop and manage budget, cost-effective and cost-efficient use of resources. Participate in developing policymaking, performance metrics, and assures policies and procedures are in compliance with those of the Medical Center, the Nursing Department, and regulatory agencies. Performs human resources responsibilities for staff.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.

Education Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Master's preferred.

Experience Required:
  • Typically requires 7 years of experience in nursing. Includes 3 years of management experience in patient care services.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
  • Advanced clinical and technical knowledge of the Operating Room, Interventional Cardiology, and/or GI Services.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously.
