This role involves managing project materials under the supervision of Purchasing Management.
Responsibilities include overseeing important material orders and potentially leading a team at a mid-management level, with support from Material Management.
Monitoring and reporting on supplier performance to ensure they meet all deliverables as per the Purchase Order's terms and conditions.
Collaboration with various departments including Material Management, Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS)/Quality, Engineering, Project Data & Document Management (PDDM), and Construction.
Acting as a liaison between suppliers and clients as necessary.
Generating documents, organizing files, maintaining tracking data, and preparing reports.
Proficient data entry into the Material Management Work Process using approved tools to meet project requirements.
Any other duties as assigned.
Basic Job Requirements:
A four-year accredited degree or equivalent work experience, with at least three years of relevant experience.
Effective communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
Technical knowledge relevant to the job.
Ability to understand and apply relevant statutes and guidelines.
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
Other Job Requirements:
Must have a TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, though a four-year accredited degree is preferred.
Experience in Supply Chain for specific industries like Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Data Centers, Construction, or Facility Maintenance.
Experience in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management (EPCM) industry.
Proficiency in English communication.
Working towards relevant professional certifications or licenses.
Previous experience primarily in material management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in computer skills including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and presentation programs.
