Our client is a specialty industrial component manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Plant Manager for their facility in the northern IN area.
This role will lead plantwide:
Safety
Morale
Direct all manufacturing / production
Departmental Management, including Budgets and Forecasts, P&L, training, coaching
Schedule Attainment
Continuous Improvement
Scrap Reduction
Operational Efficiency
Kaizen / Lean / JIT
Full plant leadership: Quality, Engineering, Materials / Supply Chain, Maintenance
This position requires a minimum of ten years current experience, five at a similar Plant / Operations manager's level in industrial / automotive manufacturing. A Bachelor's degree is required (technical / engineering field preferred), and strong JIT / Lean / TPS experience and knowledge. MBA / Masters degree a strong plus. Machining and / or automotive experience strongly preferred. Must have a minimum of 5~7 years experience supervising salaried employees, at a Manager level. Stable progressive work history required. Full P&L experience is strongly preferred.
