Looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with passion and experience to develop and maintain thermal management software architectures. In this role the Senior Systems Engineer will develop system architectures and requirements for electrical vehicles.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze current thermal management software and interface designs to determine continuous improvement
Design and develop control systems architecture for EV program
Ensure that thermal control schemes will meet system requirements
Collaborate with controls and modeling engineers to develop control strategies for thermal management of systems to include: battery, fuel cell, powertrain, etc.
Support and work closely with cross functional teams to develop and document thermal control software requirements to be implemented
Assist with the development of test cases for MIL/SIL/HIL verification of thermal management software
Provide guidance to the systems engineering team
Job Requirements:
Master's Degree in a related Engineering field
3+ years of systems engineering experience
Experience with architecting software for functional safety
Knowledge of automotive thermal systems
Experience in MBSD test environment
Knowledge and experience utilizing MATLAB/Simulink for Model-Based system design
Proven experience in C/C++/Python Programming
Experience work with tools such as Vector, CANalyzer, CANoe, and CANape
Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada.
