The Regional Business Director provides leadership, strategic direction and management to the locations under his/her jurisdiction in accordance with the policies, procedures, objectives and philosophy of IVI RMA in partnership with their clinical dyad partner.
This position is responsible for driving operational execution across a multi-site area, enabling discipline and consistency in the way care is delivered to our patients. They will achieve those results through actions including: actively training and coaching their team, deploying operational initiatives, driving revenue and cost optimization strategies. This person will need to successfully engage with executive leaders of the company to accurately reflect performance of their area while working in a matrixed environment of support resources.
The primary role is to drive culture, P&L performance and operational effectiveness.
Essential Responsibilities
Employs a 'servant leadership' mindset in collaboration with a clinical dyad partner; develops and coaches all team members
Drives optimal P&L performance and growth; ensures profitability while delivering exceptional patient care
Owns and delivers recruiting, building, and developing great talent
Develops strategic plans that drive operational consistency and reliability in performance
Champions operational initiatives that enhance the patient experience, support excellent patient outcomes
Works with a clinical dyad partner to ensure aligned leadership and collaboration
Builds a culture for all employees to thrive through engagement and accountability
Evaluates local clinic performance and works with team members to proactively identify issues, creation action plans, model desired execution, and achieve sustained improvement
Performs in-depth analyses on the area(s) to identify current and future needs for the area(s) to thrive
Provide overall leadership in collaboration with the Medical Director(s) to assure all team members (1) have a clear sense of their role, (2) know the results expected, (3) understand and accomplish what is required to achieve Practice goals and objectives, (4) know how well the Practice is performing in relation to company KPI's, and (5) are motivated to achieve and continuously improve results.
Oversee and maintain coordination, communication, and overall operations for offices in assigned territory
Keep informed of trends in practice administration and healthcare regulations. Provide oversight of regulatory and compliance processes. Participate in Risk Management and external audit processes such as laboratory, OR/PACU credentialing and licensure processes (e.g. JACHO, AAAHC, CLIA, OSHA, etc.) in collaboration with IVI Leadership.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or health administration, economics or a closely related field; additional experience above the minimum will be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis
Experience to include a minimum of three (3) years' direct managerial experience with full profit and loss responsibility for a minimum 30 million dollar business
A minimum of five (5) year's related work experience in an operational effectiveness position with progressive advancement to a leadership role required; multi-site healthcare environment experience highly desired
At least five years' experience in practice administration and personnel management in a similar environment
Experience managing a diverse group of expert and experienced professionals, including functional directors strongly desired
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
High business acumen, insight and relationship skills with a keen understanding of business controls and operations
Acuteness to establish rapport and gain trust of others with a strong balance of EQ and IQ
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively influence colleagues and leadership around sound business objectives
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and laws that govern clinic activities
Strong knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional customer service including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Proven effective leadership, motivational, time management, decision-making, performance management, coaching, developmental, project management, financial planning, process improvement/strategic planning skills
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, database, and presentation software
Ability and willingness for local, regional and nationwide travel up to 50% with frequent overnight stays
This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment
