Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our private equity-owned manufacturing company located east of Pittsburgh. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership and direction, working closely with the executive team to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
Hands-On Management: Roll up your sleeves and actively engage in day-to-day financial operations, including consolidating financial statements and managing inventory clean-up.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions to enhance financial operations and reporting.
Software Implementation: Assist with the implementation and optimization of new financial software, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.
Financial Consolidation: Oversee the consolidation of financials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Inventory Management: Lead inventory management initiatives, implementing best practices to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
Problem Solving: Act as a key problem solver, addressing financial challenges and providing innovative solutions to drive business growth and profitability.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure financial strategies align with overall business objectives and support operational needs.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations based on thorough financial analysis.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Skills: Strong accounting skills with a deep understanding of financial processes and controls.
Software Proficiency: Experience with financial software implementation and management.
Problem Solving: Proven ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
