Key Responsibilities: • Supervising all office employees and their productivity • Financial Management:
Management of Accounts Payable and Receivable
Cash Flow Projections
Farm Service Agency dealings
Loans - both as a lender and borrower
Tax Planning and Preparation for Accountant • Compliance Management:
Adherence to Government Mandatory programs
Organic Guidelines
Water regulations
Financial reporting
Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise
• Real Estate Management:
Handling of property purchases, sales, and exchanges,
Maintaining property files and records
Managing property-related taxes and fees
Overseeing leases and rentals, both as a landlord and tenant
• HR Management:
Conducting employee evaluations
Ensuring compliance with labor laws
Handling of payroll activities and separate payroll accounts
Managing personnel files and Workman's Compensation
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have agriculture industry experience, preferably in dairy. They should also have a good understanding of business tax laws, including depreciation, Business Interest Limitation, etc. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial as the candidate will be dealing with current staff, outside managers, and ownership.
