Accountants One is working with a repeat client that is hiring a Finance Director. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-financed, private equity-backed company that is growing through acquisition and organic growth. They are already recognized as the leader in their space and only getting better. They are hiring a Finance Director to work closely with the CFO and CEO.
The successful candidate will have a mix of traditional financial reporting, monthly FP&A, and preferably some M&A due diligence experience. This is a very key role and will have high visibility to the CEO, CFO, and some with the private equity firm.
Job Duties:
Lead and develop the Finance team in traditional monthly analysis for trend analysis, variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
Assist in preparing monthly financial packages for executive management
Work closely with the CFO to perform due diligence on potential acquisition targets
Provide leadership and staff development to junior analyst
Special ad hoc projects for the CEO and CFO
Job Requirements:
Accounting or Finance degree
MBA or CPA preferred
Five or more years of traditional corporate finance
One or more years of M&A, and due diligence experience preferred
Advanced Excel to include financial modeling, prefer Power BI experience
