A manufacturing client of ours in the northern suburbs of Chicago (near Northbrook) is seeking a contract Senior Pricing Analyst to join their team (3-4 month length contract; Hybrid work model with possibility of remote).
3 - 5 years of experience in price management, ideally in a corporate or B2B setting required.
Responsible for developing and implementing corporate pricing strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring competitive positioning in the market
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive pricing calendar that leads to on-time execution of pricing actions that must be executed on throughout the calendar year
Lead the annual price change and the quarterly price review process
Support the development and communication of corporate pricing guidance to the BUs
Drive consistency across units by communicating the strategic pricing framework
Support the Business units to implement the strategic pricing framework and reviewing the recommended MSRP / MAP price
Maintain direct oversight and ownership of pricing for targeted national/key accounts.
Conduct thorough pricing analysis to identify pricing opportunities & trends
Partner with business unit Product Managers with insightful analytics to support their price decision-making
Qualifications:
BA/BS in a quantitative field, such as Finance, Economics, or Statistics
3 - 5 years of experience in price management, ideally in a corporate or B2B setting
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and analytical modeling
Advanced proficiency with Excel is required
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal, written, and executive communication skills
Strong team orientation with the ability to work collaboratively
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment
Project management skills, including experience creating, prioritizing, scheduling, tracking reviewing, and ensuring completion of tasks by set deadlines
