Summary:

Network Engineer that will perform problem management and configuration management related to IT infrastructure and support. Familiarity with SCADA and Operational Technology (OT) systems is highly desirable, as knowledge in these areas will be critical for our clients operational environment.

Fully Remote opportunity and must live within approved states: Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. Requirements:
  • Design, configure, and maintain the functionality and efficiency of network infrastructure.
  • Implement and support network solutions for data centers and other networked environments.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  • Troubleshoot network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
  • Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and by defining and monitoring access.
  • Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent working experience.
  • At least 3-5 years of proven experience in supporting an Enterprise Network
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
  • with firewalls, dynamic multipoint virtual private network (DMVPN) remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Familiarity with (SCADA) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition and Operational Technology (OT) systems is highly desirable, as knowledge in these areas will be advantageous in our operational environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and provide a high level of service.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
