Essential Duties/Responsibilities: • Adhere to our culture of humility, curiosity, and impact • Process data using Python, PySpark, and Databricks • Develop purchase propensity models and product recommendation models • Learn the job while performing hands-on analytics and modeling • Help business partners make more profitable decisions based on customer and prospect insights
Minimum Requirements: • 0-3 years of experience in data analysis or related field • Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience • Experience with statistical software and database languages
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience using data science to improve customer experience and business profitability • PhD in a quantitative discipline • Proficiency in Python packages such as PySpark, NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, Matplotlib, and lifelines • Theoretical and practical knowledge of methods such as frequentist statistics, Bayesian statistics, forecasting, optimization, causal inference, machine learning, and natural language processing • Proficiency with version control • Experience with reading and writing data in AWS S3 • Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates across functions with strong skills in persuasive and informative speaking
