We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our dynamic team in managing data conversion and governance processes for system implementation and divisional deployments. In this role, you will oversee the coordination of internal and external IT and consulting functions to support our data conversion strategy and operations. Reporting to the SAP Project Management Office, you will provide guidance, direction, and updates on divisional data conversion activities, data governance processes, and deployment efforts related to data conversion into SAP.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead the data conversion team in executing data load and governance activities into the SAP S4 system.
-Develop and implement SAP data conversion and governance strategies in alignment with the overall SAP S4 strategy.
-Manage the performance of the SAP data workstream, including supervision of SAP data analysts and supporting team members.
-Collaborate with Division SAP data leads to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of data required for conversion into SAP.
-Address challenges related to unstructured data within divisions and ensure alignment with the data conversion strategy.
-Oversee data-related activities during division cutover, working closely with the SAP Deployment Lead to ensure timely completion with high-quality data.
-Coordinate with the Business Process team to ensure alignment of business requirements with the data conversion process.
-Effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
-Direct the development of data conversion processes in data conversion tools.
-Develop annual and long-term strategic plans for data conversion and governance in collaboration with the SAP roadmap.
-Identify opportunities for improvement in data conversion and governance, and drive the development and adoption of improvement projects.
-Provide support for various corporate requests as needed.
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree, with a minimum duration of four years
-Extensive experience exceeding 12 years across various data conversion and data governance roles
-Experience in SAP S/4 implementation
-Proven track record in managing system implementations and handling system data loads
-Demonstrated proficiency in data conversion and governance practices
-Outstanding managerial, communication, and interpersonal abilities
-Hands-on experience with SAP Business Objects Data Service, Informatica PowerCenter, and SAP Information Steward
