Technical Source is looking to hire an Automation Engineer for our client who specializes in manufacturing aseptic processing equipment for the Life Sciences industry in Greenville, NC. The qualified candidate will have experience in programming and troubleshooting of PLC based control systems in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities of an Automation Engineer include:
Program and troubleshoot Rockwell control systems and Allen Bradley PLCs
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components of automated control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, Servo Drives)
Maintain necessary GMP documentation and execute change controls for automated systems to maintain compliance
Requirements of an Automation Engineer include:
3+ years' experience programming and troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment including extensive knowledge of PLCs, control panels, and instrumentation
BSEE or equivalent required
Experience working in a GMP setting a plus
Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, GE IFIX SCADA, Wonderware preferred
Compensation of an Automation Engineer include:
$80,000-$100,000 based on experience and fit
