Job Description:
Quality Assurance Engineer - .Net, SQL, Azure
- Hybrid in DFW
- 5 years of experience is required
Responsibilities:
- Consistently designs, codes, and debugs test software that deliver results without direct supervision.
- Create test estimates, test plans, test cases, and all test documentation
- Develop a requirements traceability matrix to track test cases to requirements
- Work with the engineering team('s) to convert manual testing practices into automated checks where possible.
- Maintain and update test procedures as specifications change
- Ensure QA Environment is configured and maintained throughout the test cycle
- Report status, develop weekly testing reports & escalate blocking issues
- Enforce and evangelize Quality processes and methodology
- Help ensuring quality of estimates, deliverables, process, and rollback procedures
- Support and debug test issues and field issues as they arise
- Document test case scenarios and installation procedures, as required
- Continue to refine current development and QA processes, ensuring that standards and industry defined practices are adhered to
- Requires basic knowledge of relational database and ability to write simple to moderately complex queries
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience
- SQL, .Net, and Azure
- Experience with all types of testing, including, but not limited to performance testing, UAT, and back-end testing
- Experience documenting test cases
- Experience creating and executing test plans and test cases/scripts from scratch
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
