Track manufacturing productivity and cost performance for the plant.
Conduct times studies and process modeling on new and existing processes to improve accuracy of internal capacity planning tools.
Assist plant controller with cost, labor, material, waste, and WIP analysis.
Maintain accurate Bills of Material and routings in MRP/costing system.
Work with plant leadership in identifying opportunities (e.g. equipment, materials, methods, layouts) to drive higher production, quality, and cost-effective solutions.
Assist plant controller in plant inventory process to ensure accurate valuation at month-end.
Ensure all cost standards at plant are accurate. Responsible for plant's annual manufacturing budgeting process.
Knowledge of Lean principles, Quality Control, and Six Sigma strongly preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in industrial or systems engineering
Minimum of 0-2 years of experience
Understand standard cost and job improvements
Have strong project management skills
Have strong analytical/problem solving skills
Be strongly proficient in spreadsheet and database applications
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
