Leading investment management firm is looking for a Director of Engineering within their Digital Technology arm. This senior leader will report to the Global Head, US Institutional and Intermediary Technology.
Responsibilities:
Drive strategic initiatives and leverage technology to bring about meaningful advancements within digital technology.
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and high-quality digital solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact and relevance to the organization's technical roadmap.
Lead and mentor a team of 40+ engineers including Back-End Developers, Front-End Developers and Business Analysts
Ensure adoption of modern software development practices in accordance with the firm's cloud adoption strategy.
Lead web development and web content management initiatives in support of digital marketing organization
Drive performance while being a "player-coach" who is comfortable working with a team in a direct manner.
Requirements:
BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another technical discipline
15+ years within the financial services domain within Engineering and technology
Expertise working with Digital Marketing Technologies: Adobe Digital Marketing Cloud / Adobe Experience Manager / Adobe Campaign Manager preferred.
