- Track manufacturing productivity and cost performance for the plant.
- Conduct times studies and process modeling on new and existing processes to improve accuracy of internal capacity planning tools.
- Assist plant controller with cost, labor, material, waste, and WIP analysis.
- Maintain accurate Bills of Material and routings in MRP/costing system.
- Work with plant leadership in identifying opportunities (e.g. equipment, materials, methods, layouts) to drive higher production, quality, and cost-effective solutions.
- Assist plant controller in plant inventory process to ensure accurate valuation at month-end.
- Ensure all cost standards at plant are accurate. Responsible for plant's annual manufacturing budgeting process.
- Knowledge of Lean principles, Quality Control, and Six Sigma strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in industrial or systems engineering
- Minimum of 0-2 years of experience
- Understand standard cost and job improvements
- Have strong project management skills
- Have strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Be strongly proficient in spreadsheet and database applications
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
