Our Boston based marketing technology company is looking for a hands on UX/UI Designer to join the marketing and creative team; you'll partner closely with members of the team to work on UI, Design and functionality of the site while also collaborating with members of the Product team. You'll need hands on capabilities to create diagrams, maps, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and specs
Day in the life:
Partner with senior members of the team creating strategic plans for the UX team -help connect the company's brand identity with the desired user experience. This could entail building strategic UX artifacts like user journeys and personas.
Actively contribute problem-solving efforts through research, wireframing, prototyping and usability testing projects.
Identify budget needs: Work with cross-functional leaders to determine the resources necessary for the UX team to complete their work, for things like research and tooling.
Facilitate the design process: Set and maintain team workflows, evaluate what is and is not working and document accordingly
Lead design reviews and testing and work closely with Site and Product teams for front-of-site UX design reviews and user testing/usability sessions to create solutions
Communicate with stakeholders and leadership
Looking for:
5+ years of relevant UX experience at agencies, studios or in-house
A portfolio that demonstrates a track record of producing data-informed, effective experiences that deliver measurable outcomes for the customer and the business (ecommerce, SaaS, tech industries preferred)
Highly collaborative with the ability to negotiate, problem solve, and get past hurdles with stakeholders & collaborators to keep things moving forward
Experience working with a variety of design systems, diagnosing system constraints, and being able to come up with a game plan to fix and develop necessary requirements to get the job done
Expertise and proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, design sprint model, usability testing
Strong analytical, critical, strategic, and systems thinking, and attention to detail
Self-starter with ability to create multiple design approaches and articulate your design rationale based on data, insights, collaboration, and intuition
