We are looking for a Fleet Administrator to come in and help support our growing fleet

Responsibilities:
• Closely monitor and promptly communicate escalations and missed pickups to internal stakeholders same-day or within 2 hours of the next business day.
• Monitor local road conditions and inclement weather, implement contingency plans, and communicate to drivers accordingly.
• Ensure all loads are fully checked-in the same day or within 2 hours of the following business day.
• Report all damages or infested materials.
• Process materials (sorting, bailing, etc.) as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts for bins and other fleet-related assets as needed.
• Facilitate the loading and unloading of fleet vehicles in a timely manner.
• Work cross-functionally with fleet supervisor, CSM, or IT as needed to provide details if they are missing prior to dispatch.
• Drive and perform collections as needed to ensure on time performance in the event of emergencies or callouts.
• Perform & facilitate new driver hire orientations.
• Monitor and make arrangements for preventive maintenance (PM) to occur for fleet vehicles.
• Perform collections that require an overnight stay as needed in the event a driver shift needs to be covered.
• Assign and print daily BOL's for drivers, ensuring all collection details and assets are listed for each pickup.
• Proactively plan and manage driver assignments & scheduling to ensure balanced workloads and reduced overtime.
• Track equipment and driver asset assignments, and work with fleet supervisor as needed to ensure drivers are fully equipped to perform their job function safely. (GPS devices, cell phones, PPE, truck keys, pallet jacks, bins, etc.)
• Coordinate and work with IT and fleet supervisor as needed to promptly resolve technical issues.
• Conduct and participate in quarterly driver tests on fleet supervisor's behalf, upload to repository, and promptly communicate results with fleet supervisor and compliance manager.

• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must maintain professional appearance and be willing to wear a standard Sprout-provided uniform.
• Strong ability to work with little to no supervision, maintaining scheduled pickup/delivery

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong excel and time-management skills required.
• Knowledge of local DOT laws and vehicle compliance requirements strongly preferred.
• Forklift experience required.
• DG/HAZMAT certification preferred, willingness to be certified required.
• Commercial driving experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to be trained as a backup driver.
