LHH Recruitment Solutions (formerly Ajilon) is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with an automotive manufacturing client located in the greater Indianapolis, IN area. In this leadership role, the Quality Manager is responsible for executing and coordinating plans for the quality assurance of manufacturing processes of materials as well as providing support to their team. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $115-125k per year which includes comprehensive benefit package, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan. Candidates MUST HAVE 7-10 years of Quality leadership experience within Medical Device, Aerospace or Automotive Manufacturing facilities to be considered.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs the daily engineering, manufacturing & production operations for efficiency and safety, ensuring all applicable regulatory requirements are met.
Champion a safety culture, ensure a safe work environment and cultivate safe behavior.
Training, Leadership Development and Succession Planning.
Responsible for fostering an inclusive and positive team environment that provides an open exchange of ideas stressing honesty, integrity and respect and providing open participation to achieve desired results.
Responsible for all daily manufacturing operations including but not limited to capital improvement projects, budgeting, forecasting, production, materials/logistics, shipping & receiving, safety, engineering, and quality.
Accountable for Budgeting, Forecasting, P&L.
Drives collaborative team culture.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar
7-10+ years of engineering experience manufacturing metal products for Aerospace and/or automotive industries.
5+ years of engineering leadership/management experience in a manufacturing or engineering management role where you were held accountable for leadership training, KPIs, performance development
Prior experience leading Capital Improvement projects, tooling, AutoCAD and reading blueprints
Production leadership experience with multiple lines is required
Experience working with Continuous Improvement methods
Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing Certification
Experience with ERP Systems & implementations
