This is a senior-mid manager level role; requires a minimum of 4 years expierence with individual income tax returns, trust returns, partnership returns, S and C corporation returns, gift tax returns, sales tax returns, and payroll tax returns.
If you have expierence reviewing, that is brownie points
Small team, growing headcount by 20% this year
What you will do:
Engage in effective communication with clients, gathering necessary information, addressing inquiries, and explaining tax implications.
Create and sustain comprehensive tax workpapers, documenting client tax positions, calculations, income tax projections, and quarterly tax estimates.
Prepare compiled financial statements based on client-provided transactions.
Qualifications:
CPA Required
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong understanding of individual and business tax principles
Proficient in tax preparation software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients
