The CFO's role as a key strategic partner to the President and Executive management team is to provide financial expertise as well as relevant, accurate and timely financial reporting to aid in the successful management of the business. The position requires broad-based financial and accounting experience with a forward-looking approach. Strong analytical capabilities and understanding of how to leverage data and information to develop insights and improve profitability is required. To do this, the CFO will analyze business opportunities, develop financial modeling, and help position the Company for long-term growth within the oil and lube industry.
The CFO will have responsibility for financial planning & analysis, treasury, accounting, and business services functions as a senior leader. To be effective in this role, getting work done through and with others, team building, and relationship building are critical to success.
Qualifications and experience
10+ years of progressive broad-based corporate finance and accounting experience
5+ years in a leadership role of VP Finance or CFO (possibly Controller if also responsible for FP&A)
Willingness to be hands-on in the detail as well as high level strategic
Relevant industry experience in fuel transportation, oil and lube products, equipment servicing
Professional designation, including CPA, CMA, CFA, or MBA highly preferred
Advanced analytical capabilities, with leverage of SQL, Python, and Excel preferred
