Our Ideal Candidate
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrated success with the coordination of the execution of a wide variety of industrial projects.
A Day in the Life
Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications to support the owner
Produce mechanical/piping layout drawings, piping isometric drawings, tank data sheets, process and instrumentation/control diagrams, specifications and details and bills of materials
Assist and coordinate the development of procurement and contract documents, including Requests for Quotations, Bid Walks, Technical Bid Evaluations, Engineering Work Packages and coordinate contractor activities
Coordinate engineering, project management and construction activities to ensure the project is fabricated and installed as per design drawings and specifications
Review and approve daily project progress report, own the QA document and logs for project completion (record keeping)
Participate in technical meetings with the office engineering team and client
Assist vendors to gather and prepare data for submittal or transmittal to the owner
Assist in the maintenance of project record keeping and correspondence functions including daily reports, photographs, requests for information (RFIs) and memorandums
Provide field support and respond to field engineering RFI and questions as quickly as possible in line with project design philosophy
Prepare request for quotation and scope of work documents for related project needs
Responsible for maintaining master project schedules
What You'll Bring to the Team
Technical diploma, degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience
7-10 years of experience working on industrial project sites
Experience with coordination of work and people, communication (verbal and written), planning and organization
Ability to travel as required.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge and experience with ERP and CMMS platforms (eg. BST, SAP, Indus Passport, etc.)
Knowledge and experience with project scheduling software (eg. MS Project, etc.)
Knowledge and experience with AutoDesk software (eg. AutoCad, AutoCad Plant 3D, etc.)
