DianaHR is seeking an experienced, full stack engineer to join as a member of our founding engineering team!
About You
In this role, we are seeking someone who:
Is excited and looking for an early stage startup adventure!
Has experience working across the software stack from JavaScript frontends to backends and databases
Can work independently or in small teams to quickly deliver technical solutions by leaning on past experience or learning new tools and technologies
Is a direct and precise communicator
Has 3+ years of relevant work experience
Has experience or interest in Artificial Intelligence (a plus)
Has experience with AWS and DevOps (a plus)
The Role
As a founding engineer you will work directly with the co-founders and have a large impact on product delivery, technical direction, and company culture. This includes, but is not limited to:
Executing on and delivering the product roadmap
Exploring and designing proofs of concept
Working with the CTO to define necessary systems and processes
Salary range of $100k-160k / 0.5-2% equity (depending on experience and salary/equity package)

Upeka Bee is the former Head of Engineering for Gusto's HR platform where she led the launch of Gusto's HR offering. Previously, she worked as a founding engineer for YesPath, a marketing tech startup and at various roles at Salesforce.
Tim Kral is the former VP of Engineering for Relay Payments, a fintech startup, where he led all technology groups - software engineering, quality engineering, SRE, and IT. Previously, he worked as a founding engineer (with Upeka!) for YesPath and at various roles at Salesforce.
Location
Our office is in downtown San Francisco. We prefer to all work together face to face because we believe that's how magic happens.
Note. We are currently only looking for candidates who are authorized to work in the US and we are not able to sponsor US work visas at the moment.
About DianaHR
DianaHR is looking to disrupt the HR and Ops space by providing AI-enhanced support to the 1.4 million small and medium businesses within the US, that have at least 10 employees. These business owners are struggling with their HR and people operations needs. Our goal is to provide them with the expertise to setup and run their payroll, remain in compliance with state governments, maintain HR documentation, and onboard/offboard employees - and give them peace of mind.
