We are looking for an experienced CPA coming from another business management firm or a public accounting firm within a HNW tax group. Responsibilities:
Manage a fully staffed team of business managers, accountants, and assistants, serving as the point person for a high profile group of clients, ensuring that all financial deadlines are being met.
Understand the clients' unique financial goals, objectives, and challenges. Assist and advice them on any significant financial decisions such as purchasing large assets.
Review tax returns and provide guidance on tax-saving opportunities and deductions.
Collaborate with estate planning attorneys to develop and implement estate plans, trusts, and asset protection strategies to preserve and transfer wealth to future generations.
Coordinate with external advisors, including attorneys, agents, managers, and other professionals, to address client needs and provide integrated financial solutions.
Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive financial information and personal matters for clients.
Qualifications:
CPA Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
8+ years of tax experience in business management or public accounting firm working with high net worth clients.
Deep understanding of tax laws, financial planning strategies, investment principles, and estate planning techniques relevant to high net worth individuals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop strategic solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with high-profile clients and key stakeholders.
