RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will provide technical support in the areas of project planning, safety site planning, project development, Anti-Deficiency Act work classification, and supporting facility planning.
You will serve as senior project planner for planning, design, and construction projects; i.e. Military Construction, special projects for facilities, waterfront/shore structures, warehouses, power plants, hazardous waste and fire protection systems.
You will investigate existing problem areas in order to forecast future project facilities planning.
You will review plans and designs to ensure they conform within Navy and DoD guidance and A/E contracts.
You will prepare statements of work and government estimates.

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
