As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of their organization. You will be responsible for various financial activities including cost accounting, financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and compliance support.

Your analytical skills and strategic insights will directly impact our decision-making processes and drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and analyze cost data to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure the accuracy and robustness of financial records and statements through meticulous review and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive financial plans and forecasts to guide strategic initiatives.
  • Lead month-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation and recording. Conduct thorough reviews of financial reports and provide insights to management.
  • Perform account reconciliations and approvals to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor working capital and inventory levels, identifying opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Analyze costing structures and set appropriate rates to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Conduct in-depth margin analysis to identify key drivers and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Track and analyze corporate and business metrics to assess performance and support decision-making.
  • Provide support for audit and controls testing activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Review contracts, payments, and pricing structures to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Provide training and support to finance and operational teams on financial processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for systems and process enhancements to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in cost accounting principles and practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial reporting standards and GAAP.
  • Experience with financial planning and forecasting processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
