As a Services Engineer III - Azure/AVD Infrastructure you will... • Manage the setup, implementation, and configuration of Azure Professional Services projects from the ground up • Lead implementation of core Azure services such as: AVD, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure AD, and Azure IaaS • Effectively work with multiple external clients on various projects, systems, and demands • In Azure, setup single sign on, create/manage group policies (object management) and clean up • Provide guidance and direction to Service Engineer II and Service Engineer IIIs • Able to confidently influence the client and recommend alternative solutions in a professional manner. • Enable clients to get the most out of their technology; help them work smarter not harder
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities... • 3-5+ years' experience managing Azure infrastructure end to end • 1+ year of MSP, or similar client facing industry, experience highly preferred • Strong attention to detail, outstanding resourcefulness, flexibility, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting • Ability to determine priorities effectively by managing multiple projects, clients, and escalations • Affinity for developing strong business relationships across multiple levels of an organization • Rely on strong problem-solving skills to understand and resolve both simple and complex technical issues • Follow company process and standards to ensure efficient workflow and quality results
Technical Qualifications Required... • Strong understanding of Azure concepts including VNets and other network resources, security groups, Availability Zones/Sets/Groups, Azure Site Recovery, ExpressRoute, Virtual Machines, App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Monitor, Azure Resource Manager, PowerShell, etc. • perform hands-on tasks in the Azure Portal and on Windows/Linux VMs, as well as creating/modifying/executing Infrastructure as Code templates and scripts. • Responsible for contributing to planning, architecture, execution, and validation of migrations to the cloud. • Understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Azure AD, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, SSO, Azure AD Proxy, SAML. • Hands-on experience architecting and deploying Microsoft Azure environments, including hybrid scenarios, optimizing cost, proper monitoring, scaling, implementing, and validating database, server, virtual desktop & DR scenarios, and Azure security. • Knows key Azure services inside and out: AVD, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure AD, and Azure IaaS

? VDI platform migration • Citrix, Horizon, RDS, etc.
? Provisioning and managing Blob, Azure Files, AD integration)
o Identity Management
? Azure AD, AADDS, ADFS, etc
? Provisioning, management and troubleshooting various identity services
o Azure IaaS
? Design, provisioning and management of compute, database, network, and storage.
Preferred qualifications, nice to have: • PowerShell scripting experience • Experience with IAC technology such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM, etc. • Relevant Microsoft certifications including AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-304, AZ-500 • Consulting either independently or with a firm
